TEST AND MEASUREMENT ENGINEER (NOISE AND VIBRATION)

Vibratec Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd is developing its local Tests and Measurements offer and is looking for the future measurement team leader.

Vibratec Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd was established in 2011 as an extension of Vibratec Group’s presence in the Asia Pacific region to spearhead the business development and technical support activity of all aspects of vibration, noise and structural dynamics control.

Today, Vibratec Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd possesses a team of 9 highly skilled engineers, business engineers and experts with the capability of handling challenging projects locally, offering the strength of a multinational company with the flexibility of local operation.

You will spend one year in our French Headquarters (Ecully, near Lyon) where you will be trained by our measurement experts. You will be involved in various industrial projects.

Then, you will integrated our Kuala Lumpur subsidiary to provide noise and vibration measurement services to our local clients.

Within 2 years, you will be recruiting the future measurement technicians and engineers and you will train them.

• Carrying out tests and measurements on structures and machines at client sites (Oil&Gas, Marine, Process Industries, etc),
• Performing noise and vibration studies,
• Doing measurement post processing and analyses,
• Writing technical reports,
• Presenting results to the client,
• Building the future Vibratec Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd Measurement team.

• Possess or currently pursuing Degree in Mechanical / Structural Engineering or equivalent,
• Ideally, you have one or two years of measurement experience with industrial companies,
• Good understanding of noise and vibration analysis, stress analysis and its principles,
• Knowledge of measurement best practices,
• Curious and eager to learn,
• Self-motivated; can work autonomously,
• Excellent communication skills, able to work in an international environment with cross-cultural competence,
• Whilst English is the operating language, a working knowledge of French is compulsory.
